My friends and I talked about something serious after our nerve-racking final exam in CS11. It’s about “What will the Philippines be like if we were the presidents” We proposed different things we would do if we were the president like building factories that will hire workers, building schools and health centers in every community, educating people about computers and about programming¹ and other stuff. We all wondered why is it so hard for the country to recover from poverty, why is it so hard for the government officials not to be corrupt and all, why is it so hard for the Filipinos to stop doing heinous things and why is it so hard for the Filipinos to work their asses for money.

If each and everyone could just be honest and responsible, poverty would stop.
Each family will have something to eat on their tables. Children will have the chance to go to school and learn things. And Philippines will be better.

Let’s all stop poverty.
Be responsible.
