While taking a break from my review for two long tests last Monday, I decided to turn on the TV and watch some movie. But since there’s nothing worth while to watch, I just browsed through the music related channels like Channel V, MTV and Myx. When I came across Myx, they are currently airing My Myx. And yea, I watched the whole show and surprisingly, someone requested for the song My Love by Westlife. I smiled upon hearing Drei’s¹ voice saying, “So here’s My Love by Westlife” Like OMG, Westlife! While watching the video, I remembered all my fangirl-ism during my younger years. I must admit, I was a big Westlife fan!

I was grade three back then and Westlife was very popular, together with NSync and A1. Speaking of A1, are they still alive? Ha. Anyways, I remembered begging to my mom for a Westlife CD. Mom got pissed and tadaaa, she bought me the Coast to Coast CD, which btw is my favorite! Even one of my dad’s officemates gave me another Westlife CD cause she knew that I was a diehard Westlife fan back then. I knew most of their songs by heart and I remembered myself singing songs like If I Let You Go, Fool Again, My Love, What Makes a Man, You Make Me Feel, Queen of My Heart, World of Our Own, Uptown Girl.. and yes, I Lay My Love On You! And I was like always freaking out every time I see their vids on TV. OMG, I’m such a fangirl!

And I was super in love with Brian McFadden. Sorry, I was just a kid! I remembered that I actually got irritated when Brian married an Atomic Kitten member. Haha. And based on my research, he is now engaged with Delta Goodrem. I’m happy for him cos he found another love after his separation with that Atomic Kitten girl. And yes, I also had a big crush with Nicky Byrne! OMG, super love!

Years passed, I almost forgot Westlife. I forgot how obsessed I was.

They came back to me when I heard of Brian’s decision of going solo. I was sad. No more Brian to look forward It’s just unbelievable. But yea, Westlife still managed to continue even if Brian’s not in the group anymore. But Westlife is not the same as it was before and I miss the old them. I miss Westlife.

The video My Love just gave me the chills and made me remember how I love Westlife!

   Oh yeah, most definitely! I like a lot of boybands then.. and I still listen to them now. Actually boyband-rockbands-boybands phase ako.. whatever. Paulit ulit lang naman ang music eh. But JoBros and Westlife are WAAY far from each other! Hahaha!

   As for Westlife, big fan din ako! Fave album ko rin yung Coast to Coast, saka yung self-titled album nila.. ano ba fave song ko.. hmm? Soledad, What Makes A Man, Swear it All over again, If I let you go.. haha ang dami!

   Tapos favorite ko pa noon si Shane at si Mark (who is really gay, diba? odd).. Shane reminds me of Robbie Williams for some reason.

    hay nako sis… fave ko rin westlife nun, mahilig talaga ako sa mga boyband ever since until now haha…pero I’m not asian boybands nga lang, anyways, nakakalungkot naman at magsosolo na si Brian. di ko alam na naging asawa pala nya noon ung isang member sa atomic kitten hehe..grabe andami nga talagang nagkakacrush dyan pati kay Nicky. pero mas like ko si Nicky…pero since nagmature na ung ung looks nila ngayon..hindi na hehe..noon pa un.

    yeah, nauso talaga yan westlife before.. and nakakahiya mang aminin, naging lokaret din ako sa kanila.. as in bili ako ng mga tape and cd nila.. then memorize ko pa mga kanta nila.. grabe! hahah! ang fav ko nga eh si nikky.. (ay tama ba spelling?) hahah!

    WESTLIIIIIIIIIFE! One of my fave bands ever for all time! I can remember kung gano ako naadik sa mga songs nila to the point na pinagaaralan ko talaga chords nun and pineplay ko everytime may vacant sa school. Elementary palang yata ako nun eh? Haha.     Lol… before Westlife, there was BSB. BSB ftw lol! Next best boy band for me is Nsync or Westlife. Though I’m not a huge fan, I admit that their songs are catchy and fun to sing, because everyone knows the songs and lyrics! XD
