After my bowling practice with Finella and Monica, I went home straight and as I rode a San Mateo – Philcoa jeepney, I noticed the new tariff posted in front of it. As I look at the tariff, I realized that the one-peso increase on the first four kilometers is remarkably unbelievable.¹ Swearyoso, nakakagulat. Before, we used to pay 7.50 pesos for our first four kilometers² and now, it’s already 8.50 pesos — enough to buy a Lucky Me Pancit Canton and have a merienda. HAHA.

I remember way way back when I was in first year high school, I only pay 4 pesos for a jeepney ride (not more than four kilometers). See the big increase? How poor is our country now? Kasi diba, parang minsan, we say na “Ay, piso lang naman eh.” pero if you’ll look in a way, super big increase.

One more thing that I’ve observed yesterday, there are less Ikot and Toki jeeps³ than the usual maybe because of the unstoppable oil price increase. Ye know, every time I pass by Shell, Petron or Caltex, I always check for the oil prices, srsly — even though I don’t have a freakin car. Trip lang. And last week, a liter costs 52 pesos something and this week, it’s already 55 something. Potah, mahirap na ba tayo?

Wala lang, napaisip talaga ako kasi kahapon eh. Nakakalula lang ang pagtaas ng presyo. I hope that the ‘riding days are over and walking is super in’ will not come. Geez, I’ll surely have an asthma attack if that happens, swear.

This really is it. The reunion concert of Eraserheads is srsly true. ZOMFG, buong Pilipinas ang kalaban natin for the tickets. HAHA. Plurkmates *ehem, Kuya FB, Ate XG and Ate Anna* na nagwawala kagabi dahil sa ticket, don’t forget me ah.

   Grabe. Nakakgulat talaga. Yung pag-increase ng gas ang dapat sisihin diyan eh. Aabot pa nga raw ng 60/liter yan eh. Wag naman sana. Baka, tuluyan ng maglakad ang mga tao. And, that’ll suck so bad. Kamusta naman kasi ang Pilipinas?
