Here goes my Baguio trip post. This should have been posted long before mom confiscated my laptop charger: (Click on the pictures for larger view)
ZOMG! I’m back from Baguio. Baguiooooo? Oh yes, Baguio. I forgot to tell you about this on my previous post but if you have been following me on twitter, you’ll know that I was in Baguio. Whatever.
We left for Baguio last Friday at around 5PM. We just rode a bus from Manila to Baguio since my Aunt’s car is not available for that day. I think it’s better for us to ride a bus since if we used my Aunt’s car, we’ll be like fishes in a sardines can. We had a six and a half hour trip and my butt/back ached, big time! And it’s super cold inside the bus that I feel like I’m going to pee every hour. Gross. We arrived at Baguio at around 11:30 PM and OMFG! It’s super cold there like we’re stuck in a fridge for centuries We even saw party girls wearing sleeveless shirts that night and we’re all like, WTF, baby? We’re all like freezing and those girls are like not. After that, we rode an FX Taxi to get to the transient house where we will be staying. We sort of got lost pa nga while looking for it and we even asked some policemen for the place. When we arrive in the house, we immediately fixed our things and cleaned ourselves. The water there is soooo cold. Basta, everything is cold kasi naman it’s raining very hard too. We slept at around 2AM with very thick blankets, socks and jackets.
The next day, everyone was busy preparing for Ate Chon-chon’s wedding and everyone was like panicking cause they still need to buy this, buy that, they forgot this and that. We even went to SM Baguio to buy clothes and stuff we will need for the wedding. I almost enjoyed the view of the city when we were at SM if it weren’t for the rain. DANG, it’s raining hard in Baguio!

By 1PM, everyone is super busy na. We were all fixing ourselves for the wedding - make-ups here and there and it is the first time na nagmake-up ako all by myself. ZOMGGG! And I feel like being girly again. HAHA.

We went to St. Joseph Church at 2PM and we waited for like 30 minutes for the wedding to start.
So the wedding started…
So far, it’s the classiest wedding I’ve ever attended. Ate Chon’s husband slash groom is soooo rich, I mean the husband’s family. They own a school, a pharmacy and lots of stuff and the family is well known in La Union. There are lots of cameras and videocams during the wedding then the choir is accompanied by a grand piano and violins. And oh, Ate Chon’s wedding gown is worth 300K pesos
After the wedding, we went straight to the reception place, the Baguio Country Club. We first had the cocktail party where we drank different kinds of drinks. After the cocktail party we went to a sort-of ballroom hall to eat. Yun na yung totoong eating place. There are lots of foods, swear! But I didn’t indulge myself to the foods that was served. Tapos marami pang seremonyas before the eating part, as in. Super classy talaga.

We went home at around 8PM and it’s raining very hard. My mom said that it’s already signal number 3 in Baguio! That is sooo crazy! We were like all debating if we will go home na the next day or not since it’s really raining very hard that time na parang mabubutas na yung bubong!
Pero after all the debating, we still went home the next day kasi gumanda yung panahon.
One thing that I’ll never forget during the trip is yung muntik na kaming madisgrasya nung pauwi na kami. as in super OMFG, is this the end? Inisip-isip ko ng mga oras na yun na I’m not ready to die, I still need to attend college. Basta many things were running inside my head that time nung muntik na kaming madisgrasya at muntik na kaming mabunggo. Grabe, I super thank God for keeping me alive ngayon!
To sum it all up, we just went to Baguio for the wedding. We didn’t had the time to visit some places in Baguio since it’s raining and that sucks.
You want some lengua? HOHO!

Ayiene! Ang sosyal naman ng wedding (mo? hehehe) sa Baguio pa! Sigurado akong cold as ice yung wedding.. cool pala, lol. When I read your entry last night napaisip ako kailan kaya ako ikakasal? Haha! I like what you wore.. pero sana di ka masyado nagjacket during the wedding, sayang naman yung suot mo! But I can understand, ang lamig lamig dyan eh! Lalo na yung part na nasa bus kayo tapos may mga nakasleeveless, siguro mga balat kalabaw na yun?
Experiencing the cold sa Baguio is enough for me na.. there’s always time to go back in Baguio, especially for you kasi UP has a ‘normal’ school system naman diba? Tamang span ng vacation time and stuff.

Mas comfortable kapag may sariling sasakyan when it comes to pee-talk. Kasi pwedeng stop over kahit saan kapag ganyan kalayo yung byahe. HAHA.
OMG talaga yung groom! Swerte. Swerte. Naiisip ko lang talaga, super love niya tita mo (or Ate) kasi he spent alot, which is very very very nice. :)) Gusto ko rin ng ganun, kahit di mayaman basta, paggagastusan yung kasal ko, ay namin pala! - - LOL.
Yung mga bus, sabi nila mabibilis daw magpatakbo kahit alam nilang liko liko yung daan. Tsss.
