I realized that for a month now, I have not reading any book. This is the reason why I grabbed a copy of The Host last Saturday when my family and I went to a mall. While passing by National Bookstore, I saw a book that really caught my eye - The Host. It’s Stephenie Meyer’s non-vampire book and very first adult novel. Well, who doesn’t recognize Stephenie Meyer? She’s just the genius behind the Twilight series books. She’s the genius who created the gorgeous vampire, Edward. All the time, I thought that this book will be released on May 6 because that’s what The Host site said. I was really shocked to see the book earlier than what I expected.

I started reading the book the day I bought it and it keeps me awake in the wee hours of the night. I srsly love the book - the story, the characters - everything! It’s about a soul, Wanderer, who invaded the body of a human, Melanie. Supposed to be, Wanderer must control Melanie, not the other way around. But it seems like that Melanie is controlling Wanderer and giving Wanderer visions about Jared.¹ When outside forces make Melanie and Wanderer unwilling allies, they set off on an uncertain search for the man they both love.²

See? The story is so interesting plus Stephenie Meyer never forgets to make me so kilig. Yihiii.

Oh btw, last Saturday is my sister’s birthday, Jjam Ynah.³ We celebrated her birthday by watching the Superhero movie and shopping. About the movie, I thought that it’s just spoofs about superheroes but I was wrong. There is a story! Yes, a story! Watch it. It’s not that super funny though but it made me laugh.

PS. Noime has opened her new domain, Kalawakan. And this is a super lame post. I lost my interest but I’m not quitting.
PPS. Summit said that they might release Twilight the Movie early 2009 in other countries. No way this will happen! I wanna see my Edward, December 12, 2008. Darn it. So please, sign this petition and spread the word.
